Payroll System Improvements
We are pleased to announce a set of new improvements in Qoyod aimed at improving the user experience and simplifying payroll management in terms of navigation, validation, confirmation, and accurate calculations.
Improvement details
1. Improved navigation
When clicking “Back” during payroll preparation, the user is taken directly to the “New Payroll Setup” page instead of the “Payroll List” page, while retaining previously selected employees. This allows the user to edit or add employees without losing entered data.
2. Payment confirmation
After clicking “Pay All Payrolls”, an immediate success confirmation message appears on screen. If a payment issue occurs, a message explaining the reason is shown. This helps the user confirm the operation was completed and understand any errors.
3. Delete confirmation
When attempting to delete an employee’s entitlements during payroll verification, a popup appears with the employee’s name and “Confirm” / “Cancel” options. The deletion and any system update are not executed until the user manually confirms the action.
4. Accurate daily salary calculation
The daily salary calculation method for a new employee in their first month has been updated: it now divides the monthly salary by the number of calendar days in the month (e.g., 30 or 31 days) instead of dividing by scheduled working days. This change applies to salaries, deductions, and allowances, and only affects the first month of employment without impacting previous payrolls.
