Page Numbering in Commercial Documents

May 19, 2026

You can now add automatic page numbering to any multi-page commercial document directly from the document designer in Qoyod. This improvement brings clearer organization to long documents and makes referencing, internal review, and external audit easier.

You can configure the numbering format independently for each document type to match your establishment’s preferences, so page numbers appear consistently across all pages of every generated document.

Features

  • Automatic page numbering across all multi-page commercial documents: invoices, quotations, purchase orders, credit notes, debit notes, and more
  • Multiple format options: Page 1 of 5, 1/5, Page 1, or a plain number
  • Independent settings per document type, so you can number tax invoices differently from quotations
  • Consistent placement on all pages without overlapping the content
  • Available in the document’s display language (Arabic or English)

How to enable it

Inside the document designer: Insert > Page Number > choose the appropriate format, then save the template. Numbering will apply automatically to every new document of that type.

Why it matters

When an invoice or quotation runs beyond a single page, page numbering becomes essential to ensure the complete document reaches the customer or supplier and that no page is lost during circulation or printing. It also makes it easier to reference specific line items during review or accounting audits, and gives your documents a professional appearance aligned with ZATCA requirements and accepted documentation practices.
