To strengthen compliance and reduce invoice rejections from ZATCA (Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority), Qoyod now alerts users when a health or education tax exemption is selected during invoicing, requiring them to enter the customer’s National ID number.
What changed?
- When exemption reason HEA or EDU (BT-121) is selected and the invoice is saved for non-registered customers:
- A field appears to enter the additional customer identifier (BT-46)
- The identifier type is restricted to National ID (NAT) only
- Documents that do not use health or education exemptions are not affected
This update enables compliance with ZATCA e-invoicing requirements without disrupting the daily workflow.
