In fast-service environments, every second counts. The traditional POS workflow required cashiers to go through the cart screen, add products, review them, then complete the sale, even for single-item transactions. This update removes the intermediate steps and lets cashiers issue a full invoice directly from the product screen with a single tap.
Instant Invoice is designed for:
- Cafes and quick-service restaurants
- Retail stores with short transactions
- Exhibition kiosks and event venues
Key highlights
- Complete a sale in one tap: select the product and the invoice is ready. No cart, no review, no confirmation.
- Automatic ZATCA compliance: every instant invoice generates an e-invoice with a QR code and digital signature, and is submitted to the Fatoora platform automatically.
- Accurate VAT calculation: no trade-off between speed and accounting accuracy.
- Automatic tag: every instant invoice receives a tag that lets you filter and analyze it separately from regular invoices.
- Clear analytics: compare instant-sale performance against traditional sales in your sales reports.
How to use it
- Make sure the “Instant Invoice” permission is enabled for the cashier account under “User Permissions Settings”.
- Open the POS and select a product from the sales screen.
- Tap the new “Instant Invoice” button.
- The invoice is generated, submitted to ZATCA, and printed within seconds.
Notes
- Instant invoices are recorded immediately and do not go through a draft stage.
- A completed instant invoice cannot be converted to a regular invoice after it has been finalized. Confirm the product before tapping.
- Requires a dedicated permission. Configure it under “User Permissions Settings”.
