We continuously work to reduce the warnings you may receive from ZATCA when submitting your e-invoices. One of the leading causes of those warnings is entering identification numbers in an incorrect format, whether for your establishment or your customer.
With this update, the system automatically validates the format of ID numbers as soon as they are entered, and alerts you immediately if a correction is needed, before the invoice reaches ZATCA.
What changed?
When entering the additional identifier for your establishment in General Settings, or a customer ID on the customer page or on the invoice, the system now checks the correct format for each ID type:
- Commercial Registration Number (CRN): exactly 10 digits
- 700 Number: 10 digits, starting with 7
- Tax Identification Number (TIN): 10 digits, starting with 3
- National ID (NAT): 10 digits, starting with 1
- Iqama (IQA): 10 digits, starting with 2
If the entered value does not meet these rules, a descriptive message appears to help you correct it immediately.
Direct benefit: Fewer ZATCA warnings related to ID numbers, and smoother invoice submission overall.
