We have removed the automatic selection of the last-used customer when creating commercial documents. Users must now manually select a customer before saving a document.
What does this mean?
When creating any commercial document:
- The customer name will no longer be pre-filled automatically.
- The customer field will show the default value:
- «Please select»
- The user must select a customer before saving the document.
When does the warning appear?
If you attempt to:
- Save as draft
- Save and approve
- Save (in pending-approval status)
without selecting a customer, the following warning will appear:
«Please select a customer.»
Purpose of this update
- Reduce errors caused by unintended customer selection
- Improve data accuracy in financial documents
- Strengthen compliance and accounting record quality
- Reduce post-issuance edits and cancellations
